Women’s Lightweight Jackets

Take warmth and functionality with you wherever you go with Triple F.A.T. Goose lightweight jackets. Featuring a packable design that provides all the insulation without the weight, our lightweight coat collection is durable, versatile, and portable.

What Is a Packable Coat?

Packable down jackets can be folded, compressed, and stored into smaller areas. They enable you to save space in your luggage for all your other items without sacrificing fluff and shape. Once you unpack it, it’ll take its original shape and be ready to wear.

How Do I Care for My Packable Jacket?

Store your jacket in a dark, cool, well-ventilated, and humidity-free environment. Our jackets come with specific wash instructions on the coat label. Depending on their condition, they can either be hand- or machine-washed. If your jacket loses its fluff, you can re-fluff it in the dryer. Place it in the dryer by itself on low heat with some dryer balls to evenly distribute the down.

How Warm Is a Packable Down Jacket?

Contrary to popular belief, packable down jackets can be just as warm as their bulkier counterparts. Fill power, fill weight, and the down to feather ratio are the main determinant factors of your lightweight coat’s warmth. Generally, the higher the fill power, the greater the loft and the warmer the jacket. However, higher fill weight can be just as important, as jackets with lower fill power but higher fill weight may be equal in warmth.

Are Packable Down Jackets Water-Resistant?

Some may believe that packable jackets can’t be water-resistant just because they’re portable, but this is another misconception. Packable lightweight jackets can indeed be water-repellent. Our Versa Reversible Down Jacket is a versatile garment that can switch between two contrasting water-resistant fabrics and colors; while our Brenay Puffer Jacket is water-resistant to light rain and snow. Both jackets feature DWR Coatings with HeiQ Technology. Almost all down jackets have water-repellent features to help protect the down, and keep the insulation dry. So, if you know that you’re traveling, our portable jackets will be an essential in your daypack.
