“...they’re better made than some parkas that cost much, much more.”
“Eye-catching and extremely warm.”
“Just save yourself some cash and buy it from Triple FAT Goose.”
The two layer fabric has a matte finish and a soft touch. Combined with the down filling, the fabric makes this coat feel like a pillow when worn.
This jacket has been upgraded with an abundant amount of white duck down at a 750 fill power rating to provide maximum warmth.
A fluoride-free DWR coating has been added to the fabric, and it contains no PFOA, PFOS, and is formaldehyde-free, making it safe for both the individual and the environment.
Based Off Of Size M
We do not offer temperature ratings because everyone experiences temperatures differently. Instead, we issue a general guidance for the warmth experience of a particular coat when compared to the full range of coats that we produce.
This is my second purchase and it’s great I love it I will be buying more
Had this jacket since December. It’s very lightweight and feels like being wrapped in a soft and cozy pillow. This jackets look is puffy, but I love it. I’ve had it in cold 20’s degrees Fahrenheit with a whipping wind and I was warm and snug. I have skied in it as well and again warm and snug. The pockets are very soft and warm. The top front pockets are sort of useless as they are in awkward position for everyday use. Inside pocket is pretty much useless also, too small. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and even bought my son a TFG parka.
Great jacket. Looks good. Well made. Very comfy.
This coat did not disappoint, I was a little weary on the size because my Grinnell is an XXL and I am normally an XL. I did not know if the Reizen ran small and the biggest size they had available was an XL. I took the chance and ordered the XL, and when it finally came and I tried it on it fit me to the T. For those wondering what my measurements are I am 6'1 in height and 195 pounds in weight. I get plenty of compliments, and people ask me all the time what type of jacket I am wearing. The red color pops and is very flattering, but besides the looks of the coat it does what its supposed to do, and that's keep you warm during harsh conditions. I took this coat to NY through the winter on cold days and didn't feel a thing. The Reizen is lightweight as well so that's also a plus, but not so light weight that it won't keep you warm. I love TFG and will be customer of theirs for years to come. Don't be fooled by higher costing brands, this company can go toe to toe with the best of them!
On 40 degrees temperature, I can wear this Jacket with it unzipped and open. That's how warm it is. When it is zipped and cold in the freezing temperatures of Fort Lee NJ and winds hit you as you wait for the bus, your in good shape warmth wise.
